Photographer’s Note

This tiny Iglesia is situated on the road from Uyuni to the Lagunas, in a small village (probably San Juan) where the roads splits in two, one going to the Lagunas, the other to the Chilean border.
Original pic taken on my old IS-1000, then scanned with al old minolta film scanner, hence the poor colour.

The overall composition is fine with the grave in the foreground, I would have liked to see more of the foreground grave to add depth to the perspective. The figure to the left is a good point.
The light conditions seems to have been very difficult here with very bright sun giving deep sadows and washed out highlights. I did a workshop to see what I could do about it.

Belle photo Jean-Yves. Composition, ambiance, ..Mon seul regret, c'est que l'eglise et la montagne de derriere se superposent, peut etre auriez pu essayer de vous decaler (je ne sais pas si c'etait possible)

Cemeteries have their own attraction. Therefore I regard cemeteries in other countries gladly. This cemetery looks very simple and poor. At least the man left brings something lives in the picture. The photo obtain a good impression of this cemetery in Bolivia. Many greetings, Wolfgang.
