Photographer’s Note
Salar de Uyuni... Lost on the bolivian Atliplano, this salt sea reflects the solar light like a mirror, a deadly dangerous mirror, and one should dread to burn his eyes when not wearing very good sunglasses - yet the locals don't ever do. The wind draws geometrical shapes on the surface of the lake. The Salar is said to contain half the world's amount of lithium - if I'm not fooled by my memory - burried deep inside the ground. Once in a while, water comes through and turns the lake from a white to light blue mirror. In the distance you can see the high peaks that encircle the Salar - we're here at more than 4000 meters high. It's truly a vision I shall never forget. Sometimes Nature reveals parts of herself one cannot link to the Earth; in such landscapes, it's so easy to believe you're no more on this planet you thought you knew well... Life's amazing.

L'image est classique... mais le lieu fait toujours rêver. Celle-ci manque un peu de nettetée sur le premier plan.

There is nothing wrong with this composition. I like this deepth and horizon with small but also i think huge mountains. Only thing, it could be maybe a bit more contrast here, but it`s certainly not bad composition! Well done Dams!
Regards, Don.
