Laguna Verde, a photo from Potosi, South

Photographer's Note

This picture was taken from the Licancabur's summit (5916 m). Technically speaking, it's not difficult (you just have to walk), but it's physically hard because of altitude. About 10 hours of walk to climb the summit and go down.
I made little changes to the original picture : horizon is now flat, and I clear it up because it was under-exposed.

Superbe point de vue de ce magnifique site que nous avons découvert cet hiver sans pour autant monter au Licancabur
On aperçoit une merveilleux panorama avec tous ces volcans formant la cordilière

quel coin incryable. il y aurait donc de l'eau sur Mars !!
plus serieusement une bien belle prise de vue et un ciel superbe qui renforce la couleur de la roche.

Another great shot of this unique landscape.Your POV is fantastic and the composition very good with the rocks in the corner and the view down at this fantastic colored laguna.I missed this colorphenomen,because I was there in the morning.

PS: l'an passé, je n'avais pu prendre une aussi belle photo, le soleil du matin se refletant sur la laguna Verde, sans doute étiez vous au sommet quelques instants plus tard...si j'avais su, j'aurai peut-etre braver le vent et le froid quelques instants de plus! lol

Encore une superbe photo aux couleurs qui le sont tout autant. Franchement toutes vos photos donnent envie d'aller en Bolivie, un pays assez méconnu, en tout cas pour moi.

Thisi is a fantastic view (it was the advertisement for Sector watches, I think, for sometimes). This corner of our planet is really a concentrate of beauty.

I will remember this place for the rest of my life. I really like Bolivia, especially this southwest corner. Happy to see Laguna Verde and Blanca from this position. I'm sure that only very few turist climb the Licancabur and unfortunately I wasn't one of them.
Nice sky, spectacular view and is good how you included small piece of Licancabur in the corner of the picture.
I hope one day I'll walk around the lagunas again :-)

I wish I could give you more than just two points! Excellent photo, sharp, clear, with good colors.
I visited Laguna Verde this spring but haven't seen it from this point of view since I didn't climb Licancabur. Anyway, for your effort, you were rewarded with beautiful vistas. Thanks for sharing them with us.

un endroit ou je reve de retourner, le mauvais temps m avait empeche d atteindre la laguna verde... C'est au programme pour les annees qui viennent ! Une photo que j adorerais accrocher dans mon bureau en face de moi ..
Bravo aussi pour ton site tres bien fait , documenté qui me donne des idees pour celui que je vais faire un de ces jours...(Manque de temps...)
