Giants of Stone Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken almost two years ago during my trip in Bolivia.
This place is named "Giants of Stone" and is between the cities of Mallku and San Cristobal, in the direction of Uyuni. There is a lot of rocks like that in that place, with a lot of viscaches (a kind of rabbit) sleeping over there.

Ces rochers sculptés par l'érosion sont vraiment impressionnants. Ils ont presque figure humaine et semblent être les seuls habitants de ce désert.
Très belles couleurs et bon cadrage.

Hello Stephane -

This is a very nice image that is well composed and exposed. Midday light management is spot on the money. If you had not told us that this was Bolivia I would have guessed that it is from the Arches area of Utah in the United States. Well done!

Very interesting rock formation and interesting shapes, I love this kind of image, like a sculture created by mother nature, a work of art in the making for thousands of year and it is still a work in progress.
