Photographer’s Note

Laguna Colorada (Red lagoon) is located inside a big natural park in southwest region of Bolivia, near borderline with Chile. In this region there are many lakes with strange colors and almost all of them full of flamingoes. We had plans to spend many time in the banks of this marvelous lake but indians closed entrances of that park cause they wanted more attentions of government. Then we were obligated to scape fast to go out of that park using an alternative way. We have few time to make some photos, there were thousands of flamingoes there but we couldn't arrive so near of them, if you pay attention you will see them in the photo. The dust in the background it was another group of tourist scaping. This region has so many beautiful things to see and I think even if we had a month we couldn't see everything.
