flamingos country Photo

Photographer’s Note

End of afternoon on the edge of the famous laguna colorada,( 4200 meters) where live great quantites of beautiful birds. In the backround is a birds observatory that is the meeting point of tourists at this time. The flamingos are not far ,it wont be long before i visit them.

a classical view of the altiplano, but it's still amazing and very pleasant to look at. I like it, it reminds me my Peru trip.

Salut Jacques.
Bien que je connaisse de visu cet endroit je suis toujours flatté par le coté photogénique et le constraste entre cette végétation jaunatre et raboughie et l'eau au bleu profond. Et là je reconnais parfaitement l'endroit. On apercoit le petit observatoire d'ou on a la vue classique sur la lagune.
Bien vu et bien fait !

Another wonderful landscape of lakes and mountains, this one looking so empty. I like the cloud which seems to balance the mounatin in the frame, and the water leading in from the corner.
