Photographer’s Note

This picture is taken from Fish Island, this dry island with cactus and corals is set in the middle of Uyuni Salt Flat (Salar de Uyuni). This salt flat is the most extensive on earth, with more than 10.000 km2. Really an amazing landscape... Hope you enjoy it.

Hello Maria,

I went there in june 2007 : that's an amazing place and your picture gives a good idea of what a beautiful place it is.
Be careful : the horizon is not flat. It bends on the left. And the cactus on the right is cut : maybe you should try to crop your picture.

Sem duvida uma bela paisagem este mar de sal , apenas com esta paisagem montanhosa bem árida , boa profundidade de foto , bom contraste de cores, parabéns!!

Quite an unique place and environment! It seems a piece of desert on the Moon surface! The pov you choose allowed you to show a fine perspective and -as you said - a strong appealing contrast beteween the brownish "island" and the white "sea".
Very fine and interesting.
