Photographer’s Note

This marvelous place is located near Andes MOuntains, not so far from Uyuni salt flat. It is like a deep canyon, a very dry zone. There are a little stream that begins in a mine, at side of a hight dry wall of stones, the mine itself is a cascade too. Powerful place. Seeing that waters coming from that dry abyss we can remember how Moses created water in the middle of desert.Seeing that pure waters, so rare in that zone, we can think how valious they are, specially for me who I am living in a place full of waters and we don't pay so much attention on them..

You show us an impressive place. Rocks and spark-eroded boulders under a torrid sun. It's a wonder that the green bushes are able to survive here. Your point of view with the diagonal slope works very well! Thank you for the picture and the note!

This landscape is very impressive. I like the beauty of desertic places, and this canyon adds a rhythm to the different grounds. The colours are very nice. What a pity you did not post a larger version.

Another random photo and as you posted this a while ago I am sure you know the faults. The pov of this barren scene is good but it is oversharpened and perhaps this has contributed towards the speckled effects in the sky. Tfs, Marlene
