Early morning moon over Sajama Photo

Photographer’s Note

Early on a cold and bright winter morning up at 4,200 meters. The little town of Sajama has a very pretty old church, framed with the Payachats, two volcanic cones at the border with Chile.
The town of Sajama lies below the highest Mountain in Bolivia (Sajama, 6,500 mts).

I tried to include the moon in this picture. I've posted a previous one only with the church and the mountains on the back Here.

I didn't touch the colors, that's the 'true' sky at this altitude.

It's a scanned photo, and the quality of the scan is not great.

a pesar del ruido que tiene la foto, creo que es muy buena... el gran contraste entre la iluminada iglesia y el cielo matinal, es fabuloso!

Se pueden apreciar bien los detalles de la iglesia tambien, y la luna, casi desapareciendo, le agrega otro detalle mas a tu composicion!

Que pena la qualidad del scan ser tan pobre, por que esta muy buena, con ese pov mixturando las casas y la torre con las montañas y ese cielo tan grande y tan azul con la luna por encima.

hola Daniel, muy bonita foto, es sierto lo q dices, es realmete increible la afectacion de la altitud en la gama de los colores, el cielo,solo espectacular.

Hola Daniel,

Your frame includes splendid contrasts. I like strong contrast between façade and sky too. Textures on façade, snowy mountain at background are very nice with moon at high in sky. Congratulations.
