Photographer’s Note
Photo taken in the Sajama's natural park near the chilian border. We are at roughly 4300m and the summit on the left is the Sajama, a volcano which is the highest summit in Bolivia (6550m).
This photo is the result of a long exposure of around 1h with the moonlight: it is why so much details are visible in the landscape.

Amzing star trails, i believe these fuzzy things on left side are some internal reflections, adding it to my theme "starry nights"

Hallo Yves!
That's a real amazing and somehow unreal photo! For Central European eyes it's unusual that there are no shadows of the plants. You show us a great scenery in this not everyday and beautiful picture. Great!
Greetings from Germany!

Hi Yves,
Great night shot at Sajama. The blue of the sky is really nice here. Is the orange line the trace of a car passing by?
Cheers,

Bonjour Yves

I'm out of breath and get high altertude sickness just looking and imagine that I'm there. I was planning to go to Bolivia but decided to wait and go to Argentina first. But I'll be here one day.
Very nice shot with the expsure to capture of the movement of the stars. Thanks
