Photographer’s Note
On the Altiplano in Bolivia. Laguna Colorada. Flamingos, Volcanoes, lakes, salt, everything contributes to the most amazing and fascinating colors I've ever seen - literal description fails to render such beautiful vision. Sorry for the crop of the volcano; we had to shot pretty quickly to get the falmingos! (and by "we" I mean that I know not wether I took the pic or my friend Arno did...) I know postal cards are not the rocket but I had to post some of these once.

Just put my photo on and it has come up next to this excellent photo. I like everything about this and know that if there is a shot you want immediately you go for it so never mind about the crop of the volcano. The flamingoes look good and I love the colours..

Magnificent photo Dams! Color, composition and nature all at their best to create this beautiful scene. Very well done!

Very nice pic you got here. Sometimes, as you say, it is difficult to have everything in the same picture, be it because of losing the main action, short time or whatever, for example see this photo, where the cow is at the extreme right.
Your foreground here is under a shade of clouds; I like it becasue it looks blue due to the colour of the sky, and the volcano looks huge, with a little ice near the top.
Do you know the height of this place?
