This picture was taken at the zoo's pond. I like it a lot. the contrast between the black background and white subject. Since this picture was banned from the TN, I dicided to published here. I hope you like it.

Me gusta el contraste del blanco y negro ademas de un reflejo en el agua muy bueno. La captaste muy bien. El pato se debe de estar preguntando que es lo que vas a hacer?

Hi Gabriel, You have done an excellent job to portrait this a little shy model. Nice catch of the expression and the shadow. I believe a B&W version may work well to this picture as well.

Gosto desta iagem do pato sarapintado.
A luz está muito boa.
è uma composição bastante simples mas que funciona muito bem.
Gosto do contraste entre o escuro da água e o branco do pato.

Indeed a beautiful Black & White contrast. Most ducks have yellow, orange or red bills. But black is here the wanted colours to complete this composition.

Bonjour Gabriel,
Un canard blanc à la tête mouchetée est peu courant dans nos contrées.
Le volatile est idéalement placé dans la composition. La netteté et les couleurs sont parfaitement réalisées.
Très belle réalisation.

Sim, os contrastes fortes resultam muito bem aqui, numa fotografia 'quase' a preto e branco. Bom trabalho!

Nice portrait of this little fellow. As you say yourself the contrast between the white of the duck and the black background is good. Just one complaint - it would have been good to see his head in the reflection too, but still a good shot.

No entiendo porque han bloqueado esta foto de TN... este es el tipo de foto para ese site... La razon por la que te doy un punto es porque la cara del pato esta fuera de foco, y a mi juicio es donde debe estar el foco de la imagen. Buena composicion. Enrique

Vraiment un beau piqué d'image,il est rare de voir des mouchetés comme celui-ci.
Très beau contraste entre le blanc et le noir du reflet de l'eau.

Pasa lo mismo que en la otra foto: hay un problema con la exposición. Al trabajar con blanco y con negro, esto engaña a la cámara y la exposición es más difícil.
La imagen ha salido demasiado oscura y puede que eso se hubiera podido corregir con un postprocesado. Yo al menos confundo el pico negro del... pato (que tonto que llega a ser Òscar) con el fondo también oscuro.
Igualmente, una buena composición.

Hi Gabriel,
I can't understand why this pic wasn't allowed on Trek Nature. It seems entirely appropriate!
When I first saw the 'thumbnail' pic, I thought this image was in b&w. A closer look proves different.
The contrast here is very strong and pleasantly attractive, I really love the composition, and the image quality is faultless. This is the sort of excellent work I've come to expect from you. Well done! :-)
