Photographer’s Note

Inhabited by indigenous of Quechua and Aymara origins, the Island of the Sun is the biggest island of the Lake Titicaca. Ruins of the Tiwanaku people can be found on it. The kind of construction of this people, in stones, had a great influence over the Inca culture. Some still believe that the first incas came from this island.
