Photographer’s Note

Inhabited by indigenous of Quechua and Aymara origins, the Island of the Sun is the biggest island of the Lake Titicaca. Ruins of the Tiwanaku people can be found on it. The kind of construction of this people, in stones, had a great influence over the Inca culture. Some still believe that the first incas came from this island.

Boa escolha do horário pra foto, senão as paredes de pedras ficariam escuras... Gostei do detalhe das flores abaixo, pensei que era uma região bem seca essa... Esse lago é salgado?

A good framing idea and excellent light of the altiplano, with your camera despite large aperture you managed to keep everything sharp, which is not easy due to the small focusing distance with the first door.

the sea with island in good weather is always beautiful but here the stones and the "looking through" effect produced by them enhance this beauty. (Not to forget the flowers!) Very nice!
