Photographer’s Note
I did a 6 days long boat trip from Trinidad to Guayaramerin on a cargo boat with locals. The food was included, but the crew always used what is next to them, being it dried fish, dried meat, plantains, turtle eggs or in this case; TURTLE they caught from the river Rio Mamoré.

Hi Thrudur,
Seems like you also like South America. It is also the continent that I have visited the most. The people are very nice and friendly. As far as the food is concerned, I have tried to eat a few of their concoctions but I would definitely skip their TURTLE. I have once had turtle soup, but this.. not thanks.
