Photographer’s Note
This Carretón the Bueyes was crossing the landing stripe just after our landing in Bella Vista - no wonder the stripe was in such a bad condition!
The Carretón the Bueyes is still widely used in the Beni, the big wheels are made of wood and the wagon is normally carried by 2 but sometimes also 4 oxen.

Hi Shir, A superb daily life photo, excellent focus & great framing, the colours are very good indeed, this type of shot many people crop to tight, however you have cropped perfectly, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Shir,
Really traditional way of transport! I don't remember seen such big wooden wheels before. Tells a lot of daily life over there. Colours, light, exposure all well in control.

Hi Shir,
well...this capture carries an "oriental", for Bolivia i know, flavour for me...and equally it is a fine daily life portrait with rich and saturated colours...one can almost feel the sun and the dust...it must have been a great adventure to manage landing there;-)...cheers, arturo
