Photographer’s Note
This was on the toughest day of the caravan, between Estancia Piraña and La Porfia, only a 60 km ride but it took us all day long and part of the night. Some people never got to the camping site and had to camp out on another cattle ranch. We had to cross swamps, rivers and forest, with no roads at all. I was only possible if you helped each other and worked in teams. You had to deal not only with nature's obstacles, but with the snakes, mosquitoes and all kind of bugs that crawl into you. This is all part of what is called extreme sports and adventure.
