Ice march

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Last shot of the Perito Moreno glacier, this one shows how the glacier advanced reaching the shore and blocking the water from flowing between the 2 sides of the lake, a small tunnel is starting to form from the pressure on this natural dam that has been created by the ice, and in probably a few years time it will be big enough for the glacier to collapse in that area and let the water through again. |

HI Allen!
Great shot again of this natural phenomen.Good composition with this little part of the shore not coverd with ice.Good contrast and fine details at the ice.I like too the blueish tones.
Regards,Leo
Hello Allen,
What a fabulous view of the glacier, more dramatic than any that I've seen in Alaska and Norway. Presumably the photograph is taken from a ship. But what is the approximate scale — five, ten, twenty stories high? The deep blue colors can be seen in the crevasses, where the air has been forced out by the compression created by the weight of the ice. First rate photograph.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Allen.
Brrr...it makes me shudder, but not only from cold.
It must be a exceptional experience to be there close by that marvellous giant of ice..I envy you.
Regards,
Sonsoles.
