Photographer’s Note

Another panoramic one from the Ecological Reserve Costanera Sur, where I caught an interesting effect of reflection on one of the lagoons that compose it.

In the image, 2 towers ( join their under construction ) of 50 floors of height can appraise themselves even, totally out of the in use regimentations of edification.

They are the grand illnesses that cities like Buenos Aires suffer, for interests of large companies, bureaus and idleness on the side of an responsible authorities.

La naturaleza al costado de la gran ciudad. Aquí se nota que es grande y con mucha vida, ya que se ven varias gruas, no sólo del edificio alto más cerca. Muy buena foto.

Nice photo here, I like the reflections, the beauty of water and what we find fascinates us. The tall buildings look really good with the cranes above, very well spotted

Again an interesting blend of natural elements in the foreground with the view towards the modern urban architecture. Good reflections, and judging from the amount of cranes that are seen in the photo, this is just the beginning of a quite huge wave of skyscraper constructions. Well presented, Ricardo.

Beautiful shot. Very good perspective looking into the distance. And the image is nicely framed by the branches and leaves that make their way into the photo. It really gives the natural world feel and its end before the city rises up on the other side. The reflections and light are calm and peaceful, also adding to that feel. But it has a slightly haunting feel to it, also. The large buildings and the overall quietness and the bare branch sort of give a feel of a large, but empty, city. As if all the people just disappeared. It's a neat mood. Very nicely captured.

Fortunatly Portugal managed to control more or less these interests... But only after the destruction in several decades of some of the most beautiful shore landscapes we have in Algarve...

The image is very well composed with the buildings perfectly placed in the composition. The reflection is a bonus. Also like the centered horizon in this case. The detail of the branches in the right is very discrete but works very well.

Nice reflection! I like the way the reflection reachs the bottom of your image as if the compagnies started to build on the reserve. The sharpness and clarity of the water is splendid.

I would have removed the branches of the tree in the top-right corner, it's a distraction.
