The same day, the same situation, so I pase my last comment from last picture. I just switched me lens from short one for zoom, to show how these incredible peaks are growing from ice and rocks.
After four nights in campground next to Cerro Torre (3133 m asl) we got the chance to see it - it was just 15 minutes when all picks were visible. My dream to see sunrise and red light on a rocks, like on Fitz Roy (my last two photos) needs to wait for next visit in incredible Los Glaciares National Park.

uuuu... another stunning shot of yours of the Cerro Torre.
The glacier in the bottom of the picture forms an impression that it is liquid water "frozen in time" Indeed it is frozen water, but I get the impression of sort of a flood around the feet of the Cerro Torre.
You got it perfectly enclosed in the frame of your shot.
Well Done Compadre,

Wow wow wow! What a place! Full of character and dignity. I love rugged hills and unreachable-looking terrain. Your choice of vertical cadrage and zoom lens enhance this powerful image along with the light conditions.

It is a very nice photograph. The Mountain seems impressive. In my opinion, it might be more impressive by using wide angle . Congratulations!

Awesome, there isn't a lot more to say. The capture is perfect and it is too bad you did not get to see your sunrise.

Impresionante visión del Cerro Torre. En mi caso y a pesar de repetir la ruta hasta el campamento base en dos ocasiones, no pude ver mas que la base y muchas, muchas nubes. Excelente foto y muy bonita galeria.

Just superb - not much else to add! This is the sort of location I'd give an arm and a leg to be able to photograph: I'm wondering if you went on an organised trek, of 'freedom walked'?

That's one place in Argentina I truly want to visit soon! Your picture is excellent (technically speaking), but it has much more, a lot of feeling in it! It tells us how much you have enjoyed the visit! It's there, in this wonderful photograph!
TFS - Congratulations!
My warmest regards,

I wonder what sort of feelings you might have been having while standing in front of that mighty peak and shooting with your camera. I mean, this is what can be compared to paradise, for a nature photographer! I can relate to such similar situations myself.
I am in complete awe seeing this capture from you. Thank you so much for the share. Keep posting more from that part of the world, if possible.
