Photographer’s Note
After Isabelle Abreu's idea in red light picture, where she desaturated every colour but red, I decided to apply something alike here. I applied auto levels, a little curves, USM (15/50/0), increased saturation 5% overall and decreased blue saturation completely, and this is the result.
The sky was very blue due to the clear sky and the circular polarizer I used, so desaturation affected it the most and the shades that got some of that colour. And a little of the Argentinian flags in the white house here, which is El Cabildo de Buenos Aires, were also affected.
This place is located at the Plaza de Mayo, where also de Casa Rosada (Argenina presidential office) and the Cathedral are, in the heart of the city. The Cabildo had 4 archs towards one side (I don't remember which one, if somebody can tell me in the critiques would be nice), but 2 were removed to build the avenue. That cyan tower in the left? I don't know what that building is.

Interesting shot. I guess that with its real colors it would be a nice postcard, but with those gray tones and the dense sky on one hand, and the kids colored on the other hand, it looks a little creepy - like something bad is going to happen there... I might have seen too many thrillers though...
Very well captured and processed!

Bella e impactante, mas conociendo el Cabildo y no haber percibido determinados detalles que pueden verse en tu imagen. Ese cielo casi espectral... fantastico.

Hi Jurgen, interesting result you got here. I'm not sure about the desaturated part though, but anyway a quite dramatic mood you obtained, wanted or not. I would like to see this one with everything B&W excepted the little girl in red and the deep blues sky...Well done anyway, very good shot, well composed and excellent PP.
