Photographer’s Note

I left my soul there,
Down by the sea...

So, I´m back from my holidays by the sea...

Those chairs are called "Reposeras" (something like a camp chair for the beach) and for that moment, all the beach, including the chairs, were empty.

The weather condition were not the best, cloudy, no sunshine and kind of cold, that´s why the beach was almost empty...

You know, the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires is sooo cold! Not the warm and dreamy kinds that you can find in Brazil or in the Caribe... Es lo que hay...

And about the photo, I know, it doesn´t have a glorious sky, sunset or white and bright sand... just a moment, in a cold day by the sea.

Hi Paula,

Love the vast emptiness .. the splash of color by the two chairs .. the light sense of melancholy of the empty beach on a cloudy day.

Hello Paula. I don't believe the sky is intended to be blue everytime. Sometimes, like in this case, the sky can be gray and still be a good photograph. The two chairs create an emptiness by the sea. The mood is cool and the lack of people make the scene more peaceful. Buen trabajo.

Hallo Paula!
Very nice shot, looks like a winter beach photo, although it is summer where you live! The empty beachand the two reposeras give you a sense of loneliness and peace. Very well balanced composition. And the two reposeras of different colors add movement to the photo.
I also did a little workshop for you and I hope you like it!

Una composicion simple pero al mismo tiempo muy sugerente, parece que las sillas estan esperando a sus proximos huespedes, pero tambien veo algo de nostalgia porque todavia queda mucho para las vacaciones.
No se si me he explicado bien, jejejeje

Me quedo con el de Sergio, me gusto la saturacion en su trabajo.

Hola Paula,
very familiar to me even I never was there. The sand, the water and the sky could also be found at the North Sea. You will also find empty chairs there, but more those larger versions for two called "Strandkorb" - beach chair. Good choice for the melancholy the sea sometimes has.

Me gusta mucho la atmósfera melancólica, muy fuerte por la sencillez de la compo y minimalismo de colores y objectos. Mismo sin leer las dos primeras lineas de tu nota, me quedo imaginando que se puede ter pasado en esas reposeras en ese sitio tan propicio para conversas sentimentales, aun más por el tiempo brumoso, con luz cuasi invernal.

Los colores pálidos resultan muy bien, aunque también me gusten los WS, principalmente lo de Sergio.

Siento que no hayas tenido suerte con el sol. Espero que te hayas divertido, sin embargo.

Una panoramica sencilla, pero con cierta calidez, no por demas algo melancolica.
Lo anterior puede ser por la poca intensidad solar, en días asi, no se puede hacer mucho.
