This is lake of salt, and these holes are done to collect the salt. The men who are living there cannot stay a long time because the light there is so strong that the people become blind in only two years and faster if they don't protect them.

Très belle perspective avec un ciel bien menaçant, mais très beau, notamment sur la partie droite. Un léger tilt me semble-t-il sur cette photo, mais pas grave.
