Misiones Afternoon.
The Province of Missions is located between the parallels 25º 28´ and 28º 10´de South Latitude and the meridians 53º 38´y 56º 03´de West longitude in the Northeastern Region of the Argentine Republic. The totality of its limits is almost conformed by rivers, the Iguazú to the North, Parana to the West, the Pepirí Guazú and Uruguay to the East and the Chimiray to the South. More of 80% of its limits they are international, being contiguous to the North and the East with the Republic of Brazil, and to the West with the Republic of Paraguay. A small portion from its territory to the south is bordering with the Province of Currents. By its location, the HEART OF the RIVER BASIN Of the SILVER comprises of the denominated region "", by the position privileged in the map of the South America. The total surface is of 29,801 km2 approximately (0.8% of the national total). Most of their surface (70%) has pending forts and they are not apt for agriculture, but for the forestación. The province by its location is a movement route of merchandises and population, national as as much international. The province is characterized by a humid subtropical climate. The total of annual rains is of approximately 1,700 mm, and the average temperature of 20° C. is organized politically in seventeen departments, divided in 75 municipalities. |
