Photographer’s Note

To my friend Claudio Gutmann

Machinist of my trips, To where do you take me today?

Will we run for old rusty rails of going and solitary returns?

Will we be able to stop in some village to steal a kiss from the platform?

Do you allow me to touch the bell of the Annunciation?.

I want to whistle, to whistle and to whistle, to call the angels of the railroad.

It is not important if it is my stop "The end of the World", if there is someone waiting there.

Maquinista de mis viajes,A dónde me llevas hoy?

Correremos por viejos rieles oxidados de ida y solitarios regresos?

Podremos parar en algún pueblo para robarme un beso desde el andén?

Me permites tocar la campana de la anunciación?.

Quiero pitar, pitar y pitar, para llamar a los ángeles del ferrocarril.

No importa que sea mi parada el fin del mundo, si hay alguien esperando allí.

Rafael I love this closeup of yours. Excellent details and the capture on this face reveals his character very nicely. The bright red really adds a nice touch to this frame as well...thanks for sharing!

Rafael, es un retrato muy interesante. No se si en blanco y negro se veria un poco mas dramatico pero es que realmente tiene un buen punto de vista y esta muy bien trabajado.

Your handsome engineer is well framed in his engine with the hillside in the window behind; I might have cropped the top and bottom so it would fit in the frame as there are few unique details in those areas. Very romantic note as well..Pat

Hola Rafael,
Ésta foto es un buen complemento a la anterior del tren del fin del mundo. Aquí podemos ver al maquinisa, al conductor de ese tren.
Muy buen retrato de tu amigo con la mirada hacia el infinito, y con el color rojo creando un marco a ambos lados. Un encuadre muy bien visto, y una buena realización, dan como resultado una composición excelente.
La nota es muy poética, como de costumbre, tienes mucho arte y sensibilidad en ese campo también.

Me gusta la idea que tu foto es una bella referencia a los que nos permiten de viajar. Su cara es muy interesante y, no es tan sharp que lo intentas ?, los colores son muy poderosas !

The portrait itsel in very nice, with good colors and excellent sharpness. One could regret that the man is not looking towards the camera, but in this case, I believe he is looking ahead at the rail so this provides a more dynamic attitude. The framing in the door is really excellent, and I especially like the view through the back window.
