Photographer’s Note

This is one of the favourite places when we make trekking in the region of Bariloche. Here many ways of scaling in rock exist, and are a place where we always find many Brazilians, Argentines, and people of all place of the world, therefore we know many people in few days, we like this very. The next areas are free to set tents. In refuge it, that it belongs to the Andean Club of Bariloche, serve an excellent pizza. One day later we made one walked until that peak higher, or next, in the truth, until where to obtain to go without scaling equipment. It goes to be the next photo that I go to show.

Esse é um dos lugares prediletos quando fazemos trekking na região de Bariloche. Aqui existem muitas vias de escalada em rocha, e é um lugar onde encontramos sempre muitos brasileiros, argentinos, e gente de todo mundo, por isso conhecemos muitas pessoas em poucos dias, gostamos muito disso. As áreas próximas são livres para armar barracas. No refugio, que pertence ao Clube Andino de Bariloche, servem uma ótima pizza. Um dia depois fizemos uma caminhada até aquele pico mais alto, ou próximo, na verdade, até onde conseguirmos ir sem equipamento de escalada. Vai ser a próxima foto que vou mostrar.

Hello Antonio,

An excellent photo showing not only the lodge but the great rock formations of this location. You have captured the feel of the landscape with this photo, and, if one were hiking to the heights above the lodge, either the thought or aroma of the "Pizza" would lure anyone back in retreat at the end of the day.

Cool place, huh.
The snow-caped mountain, sitting majestically and the cottage station provided a good composition for this image.
But one thing, my friend, I find this image a little "crampped". The subjects is pretty large in scale, but, by providing a larger space of landscape, this will give a better and wonderful landscape shot. Don't you think?

Amazing place Antonio, I wasn't aware places like this exist in the Bariloche area, I thought only in the deep south of Patagonia. The peaks are simply spectacular! Regards, Daniel

Wonderful color sharpness & contrast. I like the repetition of the pinnacles. The antenna sets up a dichotomy with the mts. Tfs.

Must sure be a superb place for hiking, from the absence of plants snow and sky color I suspect it must be already quite high here, what is the elevation ?
I like your Pov showing the refuge dominated by these nice peaks, actually the number of small peaks provides a lots of eye catching spots, nice view.

Olá António,
As tuas fotografias de montanha e deserto fascinam-me, por isso voltei um pouco atrás na tua galeria. Já conheci alguns refugios destes e sei o ambiente de que falas. Uma boa fotografia do abrigo, com as atraentes montanhas por detrás e o azul forte do céu a ajudar à beleza do conjunto. Adorava fazer agora uma caminhada por aí acima.
