Floralis Generica.
Esta gigantesca flor de acero inoxidable y aluminio fue donada por el arquitecto Eduardo Catalano a su ciudad natal.
Catalano vive desde hace más de 50 años en Estados Unidos. La flor se encuentra en la plaza Naciones Unidas de Buenos Aires, sobre la avenida Figueroa Alcorta, frente al Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes y al lado de la Facultad de Derecho.
Floralis Generica tiene la particularidad de un mecanismo que hace que se abra en la mañana y se cierre al anochecer. Afortunadamente pude tomar varias fotos mientras se cerraba.

Floralis Generica.
This huge flower of stainless steel and aluminum was donated by the architect Eduardo Catalano to its city of born. Catalano has been living for more than 50 years in the United States. The flower is seat in the Nations United Square of Buenos Aires, on the avenue Figueroa Alcorta, in front of the National Museum of Arts and next to the College of Law.
Floralis Generica has the particularitity of a mechanism that causes that it opened in the morning and closed at sunset. Fortunately, I could take several photos while it was closing.

me encantó la idea de fotografiar la evolución de la flor, no conocia este lugar y menos el interesante mecanismo con el que emula a la naturaleza. Muy buena la idea de la progresión.
Además el objetivo está muy bien enfocado.

Qué buena composición!

Técnicamente, cada una de las imágenes tiene calidad suficiente como para un post único. Y así combinadas te han dado un resultado excelente.

El color del cielo y la imagen que se refleja en uno de los pétalos están buenísimos.

Fantástica composição, Ana! Ainda não me havia dado conta de que a flor abre e fecha suas pétalas ao longo do dia! O ângulo escolhido, a possibilidade de fazer várias fotos ao dia e o trabalho com as cores fazem este trabalho muito especial. Parabéns! Miguel.

Great capture of this sculpture in action - it definitally takes a series of shots to get the full effect of this piece.

Unfortunately, when I was there I never saw the flower actually open or close (though I did get to see it in both stages). Well done, and thanks for sharing
