Patagonian highway Photo

Photographer’s Note

This image was caught of inside of the bus that I travelled with my wife for the south of the Patagonia in Argentina. The right this Atlantic Ocean and one of the few vehicles that if cross, breaking a little the "monotony" of this extensive and plain region of the Patagônia.
I wait that they like and I am thankful for the visits.

Esta imagem foi captada de dentro do ônibus que eu viajava com minha esposa para o sul da Patagonia na Argentina. A direita esta o oceano Atlântico e um dos poucos veículos que se cruza, quebrando um pouco a "monotonia", desta região extensa e plana da Patagônia.
Espero que gostem e agradeço pelas visitas.

I love your image: the high point of view is excellent, there is an impression of speed due to the "motion blurred" sides of the road, but the white stripes and the truck are sharp.

The sky is very nice, and there is a good contrast of colors thanks to this orange truck.

What camera did you use ?

Olá Antonio!

Gosto muito desta imagem, é uma foto de viagem e isso traz-me boas recordações!
Apreciei o facto do topo do camião estar alinhado com a linha de horizonte. Tanto o ponto de fuga como a linha de horizonte estão descentrados e isso torna a imagem bastante dinâmica.

Its a great photo, breaking the monotone landscape with this heavy truck.
Good that the truck is in the left corner otherwise this photo with the horizon in the middle was a little tiresome.

Muito boa perspectiva, Antonio.
Essa planície argentina é de fato, estonteante. Coisa com a qual não estamos habituados por aqui, a não ser no planalto central que se assemelha um pouco.
Muito bem sacado, principalmente de dentro do ônibus. As nuvens estão soberbas.

Lovely long perspective along the straight road in flat landscape. The truck makes a nice burst of colors and somehow without killing the landscape, in spite of its size.

Nice to see how the Swedish economy is strengthened too, good for my pension founds.

Amazing photo, Antonio. Patagonia is high on my travel wish-list, and this is certainly a further inspiration to go there. I like the deep perspective provided by the coastal road, and the inclusion of the colorful truck in the composition. The real treat is the stunning ambience with the light and the low clouds though. Excellent result taking this from inside a bus.

This shot of the truck is original since you are so high up compared to it. This is a great feeling of space thanks to the straight line of the road, depth and pretty clouds dotting the sky. The sea on the right varies the scenery too.

Hi Antonio,
I have just discovered your impressive gallery. This shot is full of vibrant colour, dynamism, and a real sense of freedom in wide open spaces. I like the rich but not oversaturated colours and the clarity of the shot. The DOF is superb, allowing one to see far into the distance. The very texture of the road is interesting and there is a good play of light and shadow throughout. Very fine work, Antonio. Regards.

Antonio, this picture really gives the impression of a vast open space. The straight road looks like it will go on forever as it leads the eye into the distance. The sky has a feeling of infinity. The lorry adds the perfect foreground subject and a great touch of colour.

The light is beautiful but the striking element in this scene is how wide it is, I get a strong sensation of infinity here as your photo is very deep and this red truck is a powerful lead to guide my eye into the photo, splendid photo !

Hi Antonio. I wondered how you had achieved this POV until I read your note. The composition is very striking and the truck is well positioned in the frame. The cloudscape adds an additional perspective and the road disappearing to a point of almost infinity creates great depth. Very impressive image and educational too. Cheers . . . David

que linda imagen de mi país. Por ahora no conozco esa zona de la Patagonia. la has tomado en la ruta Nacional 3,una de las mas largas de Argentina(hasta Usuahia) que pasa por mi pueblo, pero yo estoy cerca de Buenos Aires. Casualmente un tío mio vive en esa zona (Comodoro Rivadavia), hasta la empresa de camiones me es conocida.
Por lo que respecta a la foto está excelente en colores, nitidez y la composición me es muy familiar

Mais uma imagem espectacular, António, que me faz lembrar a Pan America no Perú e que penso que atravessa a América do sul toda. Adoro o efeito forte de perspectiva e aquelas nuvens. A luminosidade de fim de tarde está fantástica e o camião a passar é bem apanhado. Também gosto de ver o 'blur' causado pelo movimento. Uma imagem de viajante, que me atrai muito!

Bela imagem desta fantástica região. O ponto de vista ficou muito interessante e diferente (pelo menos aos meus olhos). No começo do ano fui de moto até o Ushuaia e passei por esta "carretera", a Ruta 3.
