[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is another photo from Perito Moreno glacier. This time I made an experiment. I was waiting for a crack in the glacier to shoot against the sun, and hoped that the “splash” will get highlighted while the rest of the photo will remain dark. Even if by shooting against the sun I loose many details, I found the result more dramatic.
Please, tell me what you think about it. I publish another photo that was taken one second before this one as a workshop.

Glacier dimensions:
Width: 4,500m
Length: 37km
Height: 190m (60 above water and 130 underwater)

Hello Alon,
The light was to be dazzling, such a hard condition to take a picture, but you done it well. This glacier is really impressive, it looks like something dramatic will happen, as you said, it thanks to this strange light.
Well seen
Luan

It's a shame indeed we are missing some details, shooting condition being not ideal. I think the most important point is the decisive moment here.
Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks, Al.

Hi Alon
Dis moi, tu étais là au bon moment !
Une image étonnante, bien saisie et assez rare j epense.
Bien vu
Bertrand

I like both shots Alon, but this one is more dramatic because of the good timing for the splash. I might have been tempted to crop the flare from the top, but on the whole a good shot

Hi Alon,
Very nice experimentation! I like it! I have a same one in my harddrive but not with this beautiful light. I prefer this one than the workshop even if the workshop is good.
Well done, great job
Seb

Shalom ALon,
What a great moment you have captured here, a smiley for the moment, but its not quite as good as some of your other photos. Its not as sharp and the lighting is a bit questionable, however I understand that its an amazing moment and you worked with what was given to you,
Cheers
Daniel
