Photographer’s Note
The Lanín volcano on the border between Chile and Argentina stands majestically guarding some incredible beautiful valleys and rivers. The stark beauty of the landscape with mostly ocres and browns with an occasional dark green lends itself for the B&W media.

Nice composition and framing. At first I'd like to see the original photograph, but after reading your note I think it was a good choice to make it black and white. Well done!

Hi, very nice composition and I like the choice of black and white. Even at a distance we can still see a lot of detail in the contours on the side of the mountain, and the white of the snow attracts the attention when contrasted with the subtle grays from the rest of the image.

I like it, I just think it would be much better in color. I think with shots like this you lose a lot by making it black and white.
