Cerro Ñato, Cerro Adela and Cerro Torre Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a very uncommon view, from south, of Cerro Torre 3128 m., the most on the right.
The image show, from the left:
Paso Doblado 2450 m., Cerro Ñato 2797 m., Cerro Adela Sur 2840 m., Cerro Torre 3128 m. and Cerro Piergiorgio 2719 m. (in the shadow).

On Cerro Ñato, with my friend Alberto, we traced a new route of 950 m. that follow the icy south-east ridge, on classic D+ difficulties.
We called it "Luce de Leche" (Milky Light).

Lovely capture I just find the top corners a bit too dark. I love the light.. and your mountain gallery.. u have some lovely shots.

Gorgeous alpenglow shot. This is top notch. Beautiful light, great complimentary colors, breathtaking clarity and sense of place. The perspective really gives it an imposing feel. Nice work.

Stavo mandandoti un commento alla foto del Cerro Torre dell'altro giorno, poi mi si è incasinato il Pc ed ho perso tutto!
ora c'è pure questa!
non sono assolutamente un esperto di montagna, al massimo tante passeggiate sulle Prealpi di Bergamo lungo il sentiero delle Orobie, ma effettivamente il Cerro Torre lo avevo solo e sempre visto dalle altre visuali, credo dalla parete Nord.

probabilmente lo hai visto, però in caso...c'è uno splendido film di Werner Herzog che si intitola "Grido di Pietra", girato tutto intorno e SUL Cerro Torre!
sempre di Herzog c'è il magnifico "L'oscuro bagliore delle montagne" con Messner e Kammerlanden.

Una bella vista che cambia un po' di quella classica che si vede sempre del Cerro Torre. La luce sulla neve è bellissima ed anche il colore blu scuro del cielo! ...il mondo delle montagne sempre cosi affascinante!
