Cementario de la Recoleta is the oldest cemetery in Buenos Aires Argentina.
Inside, you will find 6 hecters (almost 15 acres) of mausoleums, some as large as small homes, ornately decorated with scuptures and structures designed by well regarded architects and artists. Eva Perón is probably the most famous person buried here, but other figures of importance to Argentine history are here too. |

This is such a fascinating cemetary and it is so difficult to get a feel for the immensity and distinctiveness of the tombs. I like your shot-- especially the use of BW to give a sense of timelessness. Very handsome detail and texture.
