About the Lake
It is one of the largest in the world and its waters are shared by two countries, Argentina and Chile

About the name
People of Selkman tribe (now extinct) called Lake Khami (the rest of the horizon) as the line formed by the mountains on the horizon is interrupted by the lake. Its current name is due to Joseph Fagnano, catholic priest who was the first Apostolic Administrator of Southern Patagonia

About getting there
From Ushuaia you reach the lake through National Route # 3, there are 36 kilometers of pavement and 64 of gravel
