Plaza Sicilia is located in Palermo District between Libertador Avenue and Presidente Figueroa Alcorta Avenue. The place is very clean and pretty.
There are the many trees a a pretty lake that form a beautiful water mirror. This is the Lake Victoria Ocampo a homage to the Argentine writer and intellectual Victoria Ocampo (1890-1979).
Inside the park is located the General Direction of Green Lands, the Department of Monuments and Artworks, and The Ministry of Enviroment and Public Spaces.
A great part of the Plaza was destinated to the Japanese Gardens (future photos) that include the Nipo-argentin Culture Foundation.
Till inside the park you can see a old carrousel, a Monument in homage to Domingo Faustino Sarmient made by famous August Rodin, a monument in homage to Luigi Pirandello made by the sicilian scultor Giuseppe “Pino” Cirami and finally you can see the Youth House, dating from 1874 when the Plaza Sicilia was created.

You got such perfect light here to bring out the rich colours and a perfect balance of it between the sky and reflection, which is something I always find difficult as usually the sky blows out for me. Looks like a beautiful place, and the sweeping curve of the edge of the lake makes it a very soothing shot.
All the best

Fine mirrored park view in saturated greens, and certainly a place to visit and relax away from urban influences.
Our earthly parks whether in remote or metropolitan places are important for human interaction with Nature.
