The Cabildo ( building)

Of the city of Salta is the most complete that has been preserved in Argentina and is a real architectural jewel of the colonial period.

It is the oldest building in the City its construction was ordered on the day of the Foundation of Salta.

The Photo
This is the entrance at the main courtyard, at the back there is an interesting collection of old cars
It also houses a museum in both, ground and first floor, it deserves a visit

Having roof made with tiles, cobblestones, arches and thick walls all in Spanish stile, it seems more a capture taken in some Spanish place

Public Opening Hours: morning from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 to 13.30 and evenings from Tuesday to Friday from 15.30 to 20.30 and Saturdays from 16.30 to 20.30 hrs.
General tours to 11; 12.30; 17 and 19 h.;
For delegations school at 10 and 16 h.

mucho hermosos estos arcos anchos de la arquitectura colonial, me hace recordar los mismos edificios de santa fé y cartagena. muy hermoso trabajo, me gusta el encuadre y el uso del arco como moldura. bien hecho.

Lep pogled kroz kapiju na deo stare arhitekture, sada muzeja, dobra kompozicija.

Very attractive view of the beautiful scenery outside the port slot. Beautiful view of the pottery buildings with gable cover as being old. Using various colors in the design and photo staff. Good resolution.

Hola María,
Todos estos arcos son hermosas alrededor de la plaza adoquinada. Los techos de tejas, árboles y sombras añaden a la belleza del lugar. La foto está hábilmente construida a partir de este arco. Las luces, los colores y la nitidez son excelentes. Bravo.

Love the medieval feel of this shot wonderfully composed image making the archway as attractive focal into the cobbled pavement square and beyond. Wonderful depiction of the marvelous architecture of this unique historic place. Colors, sharpness, clarity, pov are fantastic and lots of wonderful rustic detail in it. Awesome work. Soberbio el POV que has captado de este precioso patio, una magnifica idea enmarcarlo dentro de uno de los arcos del mismo, lo cual aumenta la belleza de la composicion, ideales esos grandes arboles que dan una nota de color magnifica.
Una gran nitidez y perfecta la gestion de las sombras y luces. Precioso lugar, me encanta.

P/D. En mi galeria tengo alrededor de 30 fotos de La Adrada, si haces una busqueda de España y Castilla Leon, te lleva a la mayoria de ellas, almenos a mi me ha salido. Si las ves espero te gusten. En algun momento incluire alguna mas, pero es que tengo tanto material, que no puedo ir tan deprisa.

Tu imagen tiene una simetria absoluta! me gusta el fondo con este arbol tan precioso! tambien el angulo que elegiste me parece muy buena idea porque nos permite admirar todas las detalles que estan en el patio interior del mueseu..enhorabuena Maria..Tfs

nice the view as the use of the arch to see through it the beautiful building on the backdrop with its arches to make it more effective and unique.I like the high trees that decorate perfect the whole image.

This is a musuem very different from what we have accustomed. I love that is traditional and arches are very symmetrical. Excellent light and the shadows creates a wonderful atmosphere.
