Photographer's Note

Walking and wondering ( searching for crafts ) in Humahuaca's square, I found this lovely scene,
a girl sleeping in front of her mother's stall

She told me that her daughter always did it (sleep with her doll at the back) while waiting for her to go home and prepare lunch

This is such endearing shot, the baby resembles a "cabbage patch doll" that was popular some years ago.

Would have been nice to have captured her feet in the image - just a minor detail.

Hola Maria.
Ciertamente una escena encantadora y muy simpatica, lo que mas sorprende es la posicion de la niña bocabajo con el muñeco encima. Parece que debia ser la hora de la siesta o hacia calor y hasta el perro estaba dormido.
Magnifica nitidez que nos permite ver claramente este bonito retrato, un buen colorido natural tambien.
Disfruta del fin de semana.

muy buena imagen, para ser mas perfecta el perro tenia que estar un poco mas a la derecha pero usted ya he tenido suerte por encontrar esta composición a espera de una foto. me gusta el clima de ternura. muy buenos detalles, definición y encuadre. bien hecho. gracias por compartir.

The doll looks so real like a newly born child. The girl looks so secured with the doll on her back and the dog next to the bench keeping an eye on both of them. The girl looks so peaceful. Very lovely shot.

Great shot - there's always something fun about catching people snoozing! She is caught having a siesta, and the doll, a nice candid shot so well depicted and timely captured right at the top of the action and she's got the right idea during this weather and she does look nice and comfy in there. Excellent mood to this one and the composition works so well with the surroundings she's in. The caption fits the image perfectly, an excellent observational capture. A dreamy softness momentarily. Nice to see you back.I like this photograph of yours.The little girl seems to be fast asleep on the bench and her doll also looks so real on her and sleeping similarly with the sleeping dog visible through the gap.Great combination of the three in one frame.Great POV and good composition.TFS.
