Photographer's Note
I am going to upload at least several more pics from Southern America.
This here is a more typical view of Perito Moreno Glacier. You cannot access this POV just by entering the National Park but you have to take a trekking tour. Only then the company which organizes the tours will take you across the lake to this shore. It is the southernmost fragment of Perito Moreno terminus.
After the glacier trekking, there was some extra time to relax and have a picnic. For many people this was more than enough time. For me this was of course much too short. I felt again like a rabbit on the field with lettuce.
The photo was taken handheld with an ND grad filter.
I see now that I should have moved the filter a bit lower down to avoid the burned sky :-(
In spite of this imperfection, I like this photo for the rough rocky foreground.
I was tempted to make a pseudo HDR here but I decided to keep it very natural.
Perito Moreno Glacier is a glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the Argentine Patagonia. The 250 km2 ice formation, and 30 km in length, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system shared with Chile. This icefield is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water. The Perito Moreno Glacier is one of only three Patagonian glaciers that is growing. The reason remains debated by glaciologists. The terminus of the Perito Moreno Glacier is 5 km wide, with an average height of 74 m above the surface of the water of Lake Argentino, in Argentina. It has a total ice depth of 170 m.
Francisco Pascacio Moreno (18521919) was a prominent explorer and academic in Argentina, where he is usually referred to as Perito Moreno (perito means "specialist, expert"). Perito Moreno has been credited as one of the most influential figures in the Argentine incorporation of large parts of Patagonia.

Mariusz,
This is a great shot of this impressive glacier. The angle of the shot is nice using the glacier to create a diagonal through the shot. The rocks in the foreground provides a nice border for the shot. The dark sky provides nice contrast for the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness.
TFS,
Asa

Witaj,
Pozdrawiam M.

Hello Mariusz - An alien and fascinating environment beautifully captured. The turquoise blue of the glacier stands out so well against the scree and dark hill. Personally, I didn't notice any probem with the sky! Great natural colour! best wishes Rosemary

Hi Mariusz,
the beauty of the glacier with its bluish tones provides a great graphical interest to this composition, in a good framing that offers us a spectacular vision on this well known Patagonian landscape.
In spite of the bad conditions of light, you have obtained a great result in the exposure and in the chromatic quality.
It's a beautiful composition.
Friendly regards,
Josep

Hi Mariusz
Another superb shot from South America, I hope you;ll be loading many many more. The quality of each ancd every one of them is enviable. If you hadn't drawn attention to burned sky, I would not have noticed. it really is a very small and almost inevitable in conditions like these. I thjink you could have even selectively increased the Contrast without making it look too unnatural. Great job as usual and such a pleasure to view.
Have a good Saturday

Hi Mariusz.
Very nice picture with the breathtaking view of the glacier, I like the composition with several well-defined areas in the foreground the dark earth and rock, soft blue-and-white glacier, the quiet waters and the dark mountains, the sky threatening to top , a rich and well composed.
As always in your work a great picture with good color and brightness properly.
Enjoy a great weekend.
Best regards.
Luis.

dear Mariusz,
sharp figure of blue mysterious glacier and round figure of remained grayish rocks and stones are well contrasted to make interesting and beautiful view here,
especially shining blue color of glacier seems really wonder and miracle to my eyes,
surely chilly air, but strangely I feel warm in the glacier,
thank you for your excellent shot,

Hi M,
I did take a hiking tour there, but I was not dow here at this place, perhaps it's a different tour. I was never this close, the place we hike is a bit further away to see the overall from the lake. This is a great POV as our eyes travel along the rock toward the glacier. Once the again the blue and cyan of the glacier is perfectly captured as I remember it so vividly. Technially all is great and good composition and a nicely close up shot of it. I would have love to stay longer in Patagonia if I could, even if I don't like the cold.

Czesc,
kolejny ladny obraz z lodowcowym tematem w roli glownej. Bez obrobki w HDR tez ladnie, szary filtr zapobiegl przepalom. Poczytalem sobie troche. O takich wedrowkach jak Twoja, emki czy Waylima moge tylko pomarzyc. Nic to, popatrze na Wasze zdjecia.
Milego dnia.
