Photographer’s Note
Daily life scene in Humahuaca town, at the northern tip of Quebrada de Humahuaca. This is in the far northwestern corner of the country close to Chile and Bolivia and people I found there reminded me more the people I met in Perú. I suppose they belong more to the austere, parched altiplano of the andean region and Quichoa (Quechua) culture than to the rest of Argentina.
HUMAHUACA is 125km north of Jujuy and it spills across the Río Grande from its picturesque centre on the west bank. Its enticing cobbled streets, lined with colonial-style or rustic adobe houses, lend themselves to gentle ambling – necessarily leisurely at this altitude, a touch below 3000m.

Excelente foto. Parabéns.

A pity that the woman is walking out of the picture instead of walking in. Must be a bit cold up there, as she is wearing woolen socks. Otherwise no complain from my side. Colors are very vibrant, sharpness is fine and DOF due to the street perfect. Well done

Hi Ricardo,
The light falls very good here on the back of this very colourful woman walking up the street. The light falls also along the wall and creates beautiful structures on the stony surface. A quite particular photo!
Kind regards

Olá Ricardo,
In spite of the beautiful sun, the weather does not seem to be very hot at this altitude… This woman seems covered well in clothing. Beautiful and luminous photograph where the colors arise well. I notice that the streets are very clean contrary to our European big cities !!! Good and interesting photograph, thank you Ricardo.
With all my friendships to you and Ana and a very good evening,

TFS.
Saludos.

So a wonderful image, Ricardo! And so a intellgent one! This is the pictures of the life: always full of colours, she goes and goes and goes... Impossible for us to see her just in face... she runs, dressed with thousend colours. And we chase her, so often seeing just her shadow...
Bravo!

Ola Ricardo. remember what Herve once said to me about pictures of people from the back. he said that they had better be especially interesting to work. Here you have done it without a doubt. The brilliant splash of colour, the pattern and textures and her leaning movement, caught in action make her a dramatic image in the right setting. regards to you and Ana Kevin

Once again...the typical dress does not gel in my mind as it being from Argentina...so many incorrect notions in our minds. captured with good timing and the speed is good to freeze her in her moment.
Friendly Regards

Hey Ricardo,
quite an outstanding composition, well framed and achieved.
The chromatic contrast is excellent and so is the clarity and the contrast. I like the fine sense of depth and the feeling of being present on the scene. The subject is very interesting and photogenic, a real fine reportage from a far out place.
Me gusta mucho!
