Photographer's Note

Adjacent to the Recoleta Cemetary, this 18th Century Jesuit church is the 2nd oldest building in Buenos Aires and has been extensively restored since. It is worth looking inside for its baroque silver alter piece and its pre-hispanic features. You can go upstairs to its cloisters, which were opened to the public in 1997, which is now a small musuem which houses religious artefacts over the centuries. You can get great views of the Cemetary down below! There are guided tours available in Spanish and English.
