Photographer’s Note
Another Perito Moreno shot. It is so impressive when this happens. Even when a smaller piece like this one crashes on the ice below the noise is thundering. Especially because the surrounding of the glacier is very quiet and then suddenly bang!! I thought that there would be more of these falls in summer because of melting or something but it depends on the inner pressure of the glacier and thus not on the season.
I like the fact that the falling ice is hit by the sun. Makes the shot clearer!
Hope you like it.

Hi Andreas,
a good shot of this dramatic natural event... I agree with you about the light, it gives a great dynamic to the shot and shows the fall in all its details. I like also the contrast with the delicate brush in the foreground and the beuatful blue shine at the top, TFS.

Une photo... assourdissante !
(L' arbre tronqué me paraît superflu, mais si tu tenais absolument à un premier plan, pourquoi pas).

Hi Andreas. Very spectacular. You have caught this well. The colour of the ice is wonderful and the placing of the tree in the foreground gives good depth also. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Felicidades por tu galeria, me encanta ver detalles en las ramas, a pesar de tener una medicion en el hielo, bien el color, muy buena la toma de ese momento unico.
Saludos
