On the headwall before the summit of Cerro Torre just after the "Ice Towers" where we spent the night.
We are on the 32nd pitch of the Maestri route of the south-east ridge of Cerro Torre.

Great shot. I don't think you guys had time to look at the scenerybehind you. Love the contrast between the rough rock on the left and the soft snow on the righ side.
I made a WS running the pic through NeatImage to remove the noise in the sky.

I can really get the feel that this place is another world. It seems an unusual angle, but one which shows how it is to climb.
Is it true that traversing is the best time for photo opportunity?
