This is the sequel of this image posted.
We got the chance to climb Cerro Torre on 29 October 1987 with my friend Sergio till on the top of the final ice-mushroom, we did the 23rd absolute ascent of Cerro Torre.

In the picture relaying on the 24th pitch of the Maestri route on the south-east ridge, and looking downwards to one of my mates of the second party still engaged on the "Monumental Traverse", can you spot him?

It sure looks a long way down...
Its a good photo, it conveys the impression of being on the big rock - I am scared just looking at it. It must be really difficult taking photos in these conditions, I would expending all my energy on not dying.
I had to really look for your climbing partner, but now I see him I get a sense of the scale..VERY BIG

This one is very impressive to me, with on of your fellow appearing downwards, along the vertical wall...

One of my lifelong dreams has been to climb Cerro Torre, now it´s been downgraded to just being there, I hope someday I´ll get a chance to do it.
You are lucky to have been able to climb it.
