Photographer’s Note

It was the end of the spring, and already we felt the atmosphere of the Christmas, we were camped next to the shelter Frey in cerro Cathedral. On this day we decide to go up in direction the famous “needles of the Frey” ties where we could go without scaling equipment (ropes, snaps, etc.). Still it had much snow and the cold wind blew fort, taste of its sound, therefore frequent it disconnect the sound of the Enya of my earphones. While we looked optimum way between the rocks, it observed the beauty and the largeness of this region of Argentine Andes in Bariloche. My wife shares the same of feeling that I, becoming, with its company, these much more pleasant days. We love mountains and all its magic of the one to all see with clarity the power of the hands of God.

Era o final da primavera, e já sentíamos a atmosfera Natalina, estávamos acampados próximo ao refúgio Frey no cerro Catedral. Neste dia decidimos subir em direção as famosas “agulhas do Frey” ate onde pudéssemos ir sem equipamento de escalada (cordas, mosquetões, etc.). Ainda havia muita neve e o vento frio soprava forte, gosto de seu som, por isso frequentemente desligava o som da Enya de meus fones de ouvido. Enquanto procurávamos o melhor caminho entre as rochas, observava a beleza e a magnitude dessa região da Cordilheira dos Andes Argentino em Bariloche. Minha esposa compartilha do mesmo sentimento que eu, tornando, com sua companhia, essas jornadas muito mais agradáveis. Amamos as montanhas e toda a sua magia da para ver com clareza todo o poder das mãos de Deus.

Antonio,
your eye still found a way of renderng the scene even more pleasant.First, for me who lives in the northern hemisphere, it's funny to read that spring is ending in november and that you already think about Christmas at that time of year:D I like how you took thi one in the shades, which offers a huge contrast with the high light in the valley. I like how the rocks kind of frame the scene without overlapping the mountains in the background and how it makes an inverted V shape at the top. The clouds have a nice smooth look (though a bit overexposed). The white in the mountain kind of make a reflection of those clouds... I think the human presence is a nice touch, very thoughtful.

I like it because you don't show us the panorama, but you show a person looking at the panorama far away, so we can imagine it!! A picture with a mystery, well framed.

Hola Toño,
A really good job you did with framing the vista with these huge chunks of rock.
Your wife here takes all the attention - more than the mountain chain in the distance. You're a playing a dangerous game here, as I'm not sure whether to focus more on her or the natural beauty that surrounds her!

Rocks create an ideal frame for this beautiful landscape. The red shirt of the girl gives a real touch of colors.

Very interesting shot! I like the way you used the cave to frame the person, with the rock seeming to totally surround her. The magnificent mountains in the background give the overview of the area, showing a nice near and far look at the same time. Well done!

Que imagen tan interesante! la composición es muy creativa, fue buena idea enmarcar el paisaje con las rocas, la mujer un primer plano aporta una buena profundidad a la escena y es un elemento muy necesario en este trabajo, la luz y los colores son perfectos, te felicito.

Linda composição, enquadrando a cordilheira entre as rochas. Ao contemplar um cenário grandioso como este a gente sente a presença de Deus. Ótima inclusão da sua mulher ali sentada na ponta da rocha, admirando esta paisagem espetacular. Lindas cores, luminosidade e perspectiva.

Very special point of view, the rocks above really help the composition by showing the oppressive expanse of the mountains.
