Here we can see that bay in Victoria island. How you can see there was a storm in the other side of the lake. I never visited Canada but I imagine some places there are similar with this view. ....Victoria island is a very long and narrow island that is located in the middle of Nahuel Huapi lake, it and Quetrihue peninsula divide the lake in the middle. The northern-tip of the island has a hilly seashore and, in the central area, there is a little bay where tourist boats can stop and tourists can enjoy the place. This island was a private property, its owner wanted to created here an ideal farm and brought many especies of pine trees and seqoias from northern hemisphere. Some time after he decided to go away cause he was upset cause that isolation and this area was took by argentinian government that created a national Park. Nowadays that big foreign trees are huge and beautiful and they are the main attraction of the island, anyway government are puting native trees in the same place where foreign trees died, avoiding reproduction of the alive ones, rebuilding the natural landscape. I did an Workshop showing another view from this island.

Esta é uma vista da pequena baía na Ilha Vitória, podemos ver a tempestade no outro lado do lago. Eu nunca fui ao Canadá mas imagino que em algumas regiões daquele país a paisagem deva ser semelhante a esta. Fiz um Workshop mostrando o interior da ilha....A ilha Vitória é uma ilha muito longa e estreita, ela e a península de Quetrihue dividem o lago Nahuel Huapi ao meio. A parte norte da ilha tem uma costa mais montanhosa enquanto que, no meio da ilha, há uma pequena baía onde os barcos turísticos podem aportar e onde os turistas podem conhecer uma parte da ilha. Esta ilha era uma propriedade privada, seu dono queria construir nela uma fazenda ideal, para tanto, trouxe do hemisfério norte sementes de secóias e pinheiros, mas acabou se desgostando do isolamento e abandonou tudo. O governo argentino encampou a área e criou o parque nacional. Hoje em dia as autoridades ambientais preservam as imensas árvores estrangeiras, que são a maior atração da ilha, mas plantam mudas de árvores nativas no lugar daquelas que morreram e evita que as que ainda estão vivas se reproduzam. Desta forma espera-se que depois de um longo tempo a paisagem natural seja recomposta.
