Here is another image from entrance of a little bay in Victoria island. I liked the contrast between the hot colors of the tree with the blue of the water. Nahuel Huapi lake is a very deep lake and its waters are very clear, when we watch them in the deeper areas they are very dark blue. In 1960 a big earthquake destroyed many towns around in Chile and created an unusual tsunami on these waters, destroying the ports in Bariloche area, they said me that the waters of this lake became dirty for many years cause the things that were in the botton of the lake came up. Wacthing this scenery is difficult to imagine that we were facing a storm few time before, and, at same time, that storm was hiting the other edge of the lake.

Aqui mais uma imagem da entrada da pequena baía na ilha Vitória. Gostei do contraste entre as cores quentes da árvore com as águas azuis do lago. O lago Nahuel Huapi é muito profundo e de águas límpidas, quando estamos navegando nas águas mais profundas sua cor é de um azul escuro intrigante. Em 1960 houve um terrível terremoto na região, destruindo as cidades chilenas ao redor e criando uma grande e inusitada tsunami neste lago, isso fez com que os portos da região de Bariloche fossem destruídos e que os sedimentos do fundo do lago viessem à tona, turvando suas águas durante anos. Olhando esta imagem é difícil de acreditar que minutos antes estávamos debaixo de uma tempestade, o mais interessante é que esta tempestade continuava atingindo a outra margem do lago, bem próximo daqui.
