Photographer's Note

The city of San Martin de los Andes is located at one end of lake Lacar, this is the place where we spend 3 months last year, you can just see the lake in the background.The photo is of a complex of Cabanas aprox. 5 Km out of town, you can rent the cabanas by the week or longer.This complex has other facilities including restaurant & swimming pool and it won an awards from Office of Tourism as the the best new resort in the city
The Architectural style is the Andean type which is so unique to this region.

Vraiment magnifique cette photo avec un très joli boisé et de beaux chalets de pierre pour prendre des vacances. Bonne gestion de l'éclairage entre ombre et lumière, beau contraste de couleurs et jolis tons de vert.

I think this is such a nice image - I know the location is amazing you can just see the lake behind the trees adding a nice contrast to the lush greenery.
The architecture using the stone from the region & the golden timber frame work is sensational.

Hi Gus,
Fresh spring leaves look lovely on this. Nice contrast as the sun shines through the foliage. Stone-built cabins look good, though they give strange impression that they are cut into half.

Hi Gus,

You're capturing well this resort by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the complex housing for resort and surrounding rich greenery. A building looks attractive by two-story with stone-made. And, the shadow projected to the grass draws out a good mood as well as a blue lake in back.

Una preciosa imagen, que alterna los maravillosos y grandes arboles, con la bonita construccion de los bungalows, que bonito verde el de los arboles, parecen hojas jovenes de la primavera.
Un sitio sin duda ideal para descansar y relajarse, en plena montaña y con el lago al lado.
Muy bonita imagen amigo mio, con una buena iluminacion y nitidez.

I am really impressed by this image. I love the composition and the perspective with the houses and the green trees around is amazing. The light is excellent. The framing is very well chosen, in a slight lower-angle view that works very well graphically, and gives a nice perspective to the trees field and the houses. The light has a beautiful effect on the elements, and the well balanced gren colors are magnificent. Well done!!!

Indeed a great place to relax and destress for couple of days Gus!
A fresh and wonderful capture displaying richness of colors of highly intriguing spot full of lush greenery and the peacefulness. More importantly to me is the wonderful and striking trees being the main focal with complementing surrounding elements adding to rejuvenate the total shot. Brilliant light and subtle shadows and tremendous detail and depth within the frame, I cant resist looking at the glimpse of blue hidden in the bg adding the general fanfare to the shot. Another quality shot as always and thanks for sharing.
