Photographer’s Note
This was taken on my travels after finishing university, unfortunately my camera broke while travelling so being an impoverished student I bought the cheapest camera I could find - one button and flash on/off only. The picture was taken on a Sunday morning when people have tango demonstrations in the street to raise some money

I like contrast between the hot colors of decor and the coldness (no smile, concentration) of the dancers !

Cheap camera or not, the composition, colours and overall atmosphere of the shot are great ;-)
On my screen i see a lot of jpeg artifacts and the image doesn't appear to be very sharp. I think this is probably a result of the scanning proces.
A very nice image nevertheless.

Composition is so nice, and the people have the right poses, it's just a pity it isn't sharp enough!
Great attempt, even with the "cheap" camera...

Beautiful composition and dynamism. There is no substitute for great eyes.

10 out of 10 on compo. the dancers are exactly where they ought to be : at the crossroads of the red/yellow walls and the round scene and vertical straight wall lines.
The statue is also fantastic, looking like a third dancer on theatrical tango antics.
A pity it was shot on disposable with a mediocre lens. Could have been a really great great shot.

Tres bonne composition, les couleurs vives font ressortire la scène. Démonstration (Peu importe le materiel)... Le moment, l'idée compte...

Perhaps the camera is cheap, and the scan is less than perfect, but your timing and composition are so good. The line between red and yellow is perfectly placed, as is the couple. Technically, I guess I should give you the medium smile, due to the softness of the scan/lower quality of camera, but the moment you have caught deserves better. Very nice shot.

I like this picture, I have seen it before but I think I was out of smileys then. There such a wonderful contrast between the vivid pose of the dancers and that stiff pose of the statue. The red - yellow also is a dramatic effect.

your photo is so interestib=ng : the live & hot colors of the background & the serious dancers !!! I like the elements. about the composition : if I were you, I'd move a bit to the left & crop the top of the photo, there's no need to see the top of the statue.this way there would be more concentration on the dancers.//

I love this photo. It is a pity your camera broke and you had to resort to a cheap one because my main criticism is the lack of good resolution. My only other criticism is the large, vacant space above the statue. I think you should have cropped some of it out. But in total this is a great photo; keep up the good work.

Great color composition The figures ar slightly OoF but the action is so intense that we tend to overlook these technical details
