Photographer's Note

This is a very stylish colonial home in a provincial city which is showing signs of decay...... however, when you look at it in detail it still creates a strong impression. I chose the name purely because of the decorative characteristics..... only then I checked on Wikipedia for the meaning of the word Rococo....... yes it was an Architectural style in the early 1800`s
to me..... this house is like a 90 year lady with a new dress......

Hello Gus,

Rococo is a fusion of a lot architectures, you find Barocque, Roman and different other archtitecture styles
But lovely color image.
Excellent composition nice presentation.
Sharpness and clarity make these picture very attractive.

Hello Gus,
Sometimes an old house can tell a lot, just by looking at it. Old as it might be, I can imagine how grand this mansion was once. With little effort, renovation could install back it's grandeur.
Well taken from street view, old shutters and squar-windows with iron railing, it still looks amazing.

FHello Gus,
nice the view of this very old house and as i see is abandon and start to be in ruins.I like its beauty,the decorative elements with the two trees the only alive in the scene, to make it a bit more effective.

Excelente esta composicion, ciertamente la casa esta muy adornada, algo caracteristico del estilo rococó, pero yo aqui veo algunos toques "art nouveau", pienso que se debio construir a princios del siglo pasado.
Es una casa hermosa pero muy mal mantenida... una lastima.
Tu captura es perfecta, con buena nitidez y luminosidad , para recrearnos en los detalles.

Hola Gus,
esta vieja casa nos muestra su decadencia y su deterioro por el paso del tiempo y el poco mantenimiento.
Su arquitectura colonial es ecléctica y mezcla elementos de diversos estilos, que le dan una interesante riqueza gráfica.
Los árboles en el primer plano añaden un toque verde muy agradable, con un bonito contraste con el color de la casa.
Una buena composición.
