Photographer’s Note
The French sculptor Albert Carrier-Belleuse built this monument in memory of Manuel Belgrano. On the statue, Belgrano, the creator of the Argentina national flag, holds it with his right hand while riding a bronze horse, sculpted by the Argentine Manuel de Santa Coloma. It is located in front of the Government House in the Plaza de Mayo.
It was a rainy, cloudy and cold day, but under that rain, our flag was looking with a beautiful sky blue color.
