The photo
My previous photo made some of TE members curious to know what was at the other side of the Windows, here is my answer, the mountains began to have colors, not only red but due to the presence of various minerals, grey, green, yellow
Here is another photo, also taken from inside the car, through the windshield

The history of 911
9-1-1 is a telephone number used by countries around the world as a central emergency number.
It's one of the best known phone numbers, in part because we have seen it’s being used in hundreds of Hollywood movies, when someone called the police or emergency.

Today may seem trivial the fact of using a single number for all emergencies from various cities / countries but operating it was not easy and take time
The first emergency number used as a point of contact for any emergency was used in England in 1937. By the number 999 could communicate with firefighters, police and emergency medical services from anywhere in the country
The use of 911 born in the U.S. in 1968
The first 911 call was made on February 16, 1968 in Haleyville, Alabama

Why 9-1-1 was chosen?
It is not known exactly why that number was chosen
Some reports indicate that a computer was used to select it, others simply because it was easy to dial the number on the old phones and also that the number 911 had not been previously used as any postcode / area / telephone or otherwise
There were already precedents emergency phone numbers with 3, that it’s probably the most important factor
