The Cabildo ( building)

Of the city of Salta is the most complete that has been preserved in Argentina and is a real architectural jewel of the colonial period.

It is the oldest building in the City its construction was ordered on the day of the Foundation of Salta.

The Photo
This is the entrance at the main courtyard, at the back there is an interesting collection of old cars
It also houses a museum in both, ground and first floor, it deserves a visit

Having roof made with tiles, cobblestones, arches and thick walls all in Spanish stile, it seems more a capture taken in some Spanish place

Public Opening Hours: morning from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 to 13.30 and evenings from Tuesday to Friday from 15.30 to 20.30 and Saturdays from 16.30 to 20.30 hrs.
General tours to 11; 12.30; 17 and 19 h.;
For delegations school at 10 and 16 h.
